Don’t be afraid with nephritis. The following four methods can be used

1. Bed rest is very important for acute nephritis patients
Lying in bed can increase renal blood flow, improve abnormal change of urine, prevent and reduce complications as well as preventing reinfection. When edema subsides, blood pressure drops, and the urine abnormality is relieved, you can take a walk properly, and gradually increase mild activities. Do not increase the intensity of activity suddenly.

2. Anti-infection treatment. Acute stage of nephritis in the case of infection should be given enough anti infective treatment. When there is no infection, it is generally not necessary.

3. Edema treatment. Mild edema does not need treatment, and can disappear after salt restriction and rest. If there is obvious edema, drugs should be used.

4.Treatment of hypertension and heart failure. For patients with obviously increased blood pressure, it is not suitable for the blood pressure to drop suddenly, or even fall to normal, so as to prevent the sudden decrease of renal blood flow, and affect or aggravate renal insufficiency.

5. Treatment of heart failure. Because of high blood volume in the early stage of acute nephritis, the key point of treatment should be to reduce the blood volume.

Stages of Chronic Kidney Disease

The stages of chronic kidney disease are determined by the glomerular filtration rate. Glomerular filtration is the process by which the kidneys filter the blood, removing excess wastes and fluids. Glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is a calculation that determines how well the blood is filtered by the kidneys. It is one way to measure kidney function. Glomerular filtration rate is usually calculated using a formula that includes a person's age, gender, race, and serum creatinine levels. A GFR under 60 mL/min/1.73 m² may indicate kidney disease. The lower the GFR number, the worse the kidney function. This number is an estimate. It may not be a good measure of kidney health in some people, such as the very young or very old, amputees, or obese people. In some cases, GFR may also be estimated with a 24-hour urine collection. Chronic kidney disease is defined as either kidney damage or GFR of less than 60 for longer than 3 months. If you have kidney disease and w
